Saanichton, B.C. - It's an action-packed week in the BCEHL, with matchups between top teams in the U15 and U17 leagues. Here's what's in store in the BCEHL.
Female U18 AAA
In a key battle in the Female U18 league, the Northern Capitals (11-10-0-1) and Thompson-Okanagan Lakers (9-10-2-3) square off in Vernon. Tied for second-place in the standings, both teams will look to build off last weekend’s success as the Capitals’ won both matchups against the Fraser Valley Rush at the Winter Classic, and the Lakers’ earned a pair of wins against the Vancouver Island Seals.

U18 AAA
A busy weekend in the U18 league is highlighted by a key home-and-home series in the Lower Mainland. Separated by only two points in the standings, the fourth-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (14-12-1-1) and the fifth-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (12-12-2-2) will take the ice in Abbotsford and Burnaby.

This weekend, U17 league is highlighted by a marquee matchup with league-leading Okanagan Rockets (24-4-0-0) welcoming the second-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (19-7-0-1) to Kelowna. Both teams enter the weekend playing some great hockey as they’ve each won six of their last seven games.

U15 AAA
The top two teams in the U15 league will meet up as the first-place Okanagan Rockets (19-3-0-0) take on the second-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (11-9-3-0). Fraser Valley will be looking for a different result this weekend as Okanagan has won both previous meetings this season. Separated by just three points in the U15 standings, the fifth-place Valley West Giants (8-11-1-3) will look to gain ground on the fourth-place Thompson-Blazers (10-7-2-1) when they meet in Kamloops.
