BCEHL WEEKEND UPDATE - NOVEMBER 1st-3rd

Saanichton, B.C. - It's just about time for another weekend of BCEHL hockey! All four leagues are in action with a total of 23 teams set to take the ice. Let's take a look at what's in store!
Female U18 AAA
The league-leading Greater Vancouver Comets (14-0-0-0) look to continue their 14-game winning streak when they face-off against the fourth-place Fraser Valley Rush (2-4-0-0) in a home-and-home series. Meanwhile, the second-place Northern Capitals (4-3-0-1) travel to Nanaimo to take on the fifth-place Vancouver Island Seals (2-7-0-0).

Northern Capitals @ Vancouver Island Seals - 1:30 p.m. - Oceanside Place Arena
Sunday's Female U18 Games:

Fraser Valley Rush @ Greater Vancouver Comets - 7:45 p.m. - Planet Ice Delta
U18 AAA
The Valley West Giants (7-2-0-1) and the Cariboo Cougars (7-2-0-1) are tied atop the standing with 15 points and the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (7-3-0-0=14 points) are in third place one point behind. The Giants take on the fourth-place Greater Vancouver Canadians (5-3-1-0), the Cougars hit the ice against the seventh-place Vancouver North West Hawks (3-4-0-1) and the Thunderbirds battle the fifth-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (5-5-0-1).

U17 AAA
In the U17 league, seven teams will take the ice across B.C. over the weekend. The third-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (7-4-0-1) will host the seventh-place Cariboo Cougars (3-6-0-1) in Burnaby, while the fourth-place Valley West Giants (6-3-1-0) take on the ninth-place Vancouver Island Royals (0-7-0-1) in Delta.

The first-place Okanagan Rockets (8-2-0-0), who have won three of their last four games, will host the sixth-place Vancouver North East Chiefs (4-6-1-1) in Kelowna. Meanwhile, the fifth-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (5-4-1-0) will travel to Kamloops and Merritt to play the second-place Thompson Blazers (5-4-2-1).
