Saanichton, B.C. - It's a packed weekend in the BCEHL with close races atop the standings in the U18 and U17 leagues. Let's take a look at what's going on around the BCEHL.
Female U18 AAA
We’ve got a pair of two-game series in the Female U18 league this weekend. The first-place Greater Vancouver Comets (16-0-0-0) make their way to the Island to take on the third-place Vancouver Island Seals (3-8-0-0), while the fifth-place Fraser Valley Rush (2-6-0-0) travel to Vernon to play the fourth-place Thompson-Okanagan Lakers (2-7-0-2).

Fraser Valley Rush @ Thompson-Okanagan Lakers - 6:30 p.m. - Kal Tire Place

U18 AAA
It’s a packed schedule in the U18 league with all eight teams playing over four days. Only one point separates the first-place Valley West Giants (9-2-0-1) and second-place Cariboo Cougars (8-2-1-1). The Giants will face the third-place Fraser Valley Thunderbirds (7-3-0-1) while the Cougars take on the sixth-place Okanagan Rockets (4-4-1-1).

U17 AAA
It’s a tight race atop the standings in the U17 league as the Okanagan Rockets (9-1-0-0), Vancouver North West Hawks (9-4-0-0) and Vancouver North East Chiefs (8-4-1-1) are tied for first with 18 points. The Rockets will host the fourth-place Valley West Giants (8-3-1-0) in Kelowna and the Chiefs take on the sixth-place Thompson Blazers (5-8-1-0) in Burnaby.

In the lone U15 series of the weekend, a key matchup goes down as the third-place Valley West Giants (6-3-0-2) face off against the fourth-place Thompson Blazers (5-6-2-1). The two teams are separated by one point and will look to gain positioning in the standings.
